Holiday Party 2000
Thanks For A Great Time!
We had a fantastic time at our annual Holiday Season Party on November 25th, 2000 and we hope that everyone who joined us did, too!
More than 100 of our 'Clients For Life' turned out to help us celebrate the season, to catch up on news and to just plain enjoy the lovely VIP lounge at Embryus Nightlife.
We can't thank you enough for helping us to kick off our Holiday Season in such a special way!
One of the highlights of the evening was the draw for the year-long use of a sleek, silver 2001 PT Cruiser.
The lucky winners were Shailine (second from right) and Cori (far right).
Undoubtedly the happiest event by far for the lucky couple this year was the birth of their healthy baby girl, Indira, in August, but they were still pretty excited about winning the right to "cruise" T.O. (We hear that a baby seat WILL fit in the back seat, by the way!)
We gave away lots of other fun prizes, too.
Our 'Client For Life' Jose (in the brown coat) won dinner and two tickets to the Lion King.
Tara (in the red jacket) created the magnificient puppets for the Lion King and drew the winning ballot for us.
(Tara is married to Ken, our former Buyer Co-ordinator, who is getting his real estate license so that he can become our newest Buyer Consultant.)
As well, Rob (at right) won a wine-making kit from WineNot in The Beaches; Tom won a spa package from Beauty Exchange; Darryl won a Scotiabank gift basket; and Rob and Erin won a ROM family pass AND a "sunset cruise" aboard our boat during Symphony of Fire.
Many thanks to all of our contest
co-sponsors who donated all, or part, of the lovely prizes.
Everyone was impressed with the VIP lounge at Embryus, which is on Adelaide near Duncan.
Leather couches, a fireplace, discreet lighting, a wooden bar -- WOW!
It comfortably held our crowd, too, though we could still wander to the dance floor and second bar just outside the room.
Thanks from all of our team to you for making the evening such a success!
(l to r; Christine, Carlos, Anna, Rylie, Vanessa, Tom, Sally and Ken.)
It was great to "catch up" with everyone and hear all the renovating/moving/settling in stories.
We hope to see you on November 17th, 2001, for our next Holiday Party.
We're not sure where it will be yet, be we're looking for a place where we can chit-chat till 9-ish, have our draw and then dance the night away.
See you then!
